A Chicago-area energy utility wanted simple print ads about their environmental efforts. I pushed for something bigger: powering the local commuter train with renewable energy, then telling the story using interior car posters and platform signage.
My Role: Copywriting, Creative Direction, Campaign Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Trainspotting
What I did:
Discovered a little-known renewable energy program and turned it into a visible partnership.
Drove concept and wrote campaign copy for posters and signage.
Tied the train riders’ experience directly to what they could buy at home.
How it went:
Elevated NIPSCO’s environmental credibility in a way ads alone couldn’t.
Made the program tangible — literally powering people’s commute.
